"This is a HEAVY read that will make you think. It’s not a straightforward book and parts of it will make you question your faith(if you have that sort of thing). One of the central themes in this book is seeing the difference between being healed vs being consumed.
The end has no concrete resolution as Elias. The main character states something along the lines of feeling the pull between the healer and god each day.
